One of the things I find most irksome is that we are conditioned to think that we need the stars to align perfectly for us to feel good.  If only I were married, if only I were single, if only I had more money, if only I could lose those extra pounds.  There is nothing stopping us from attaining the joy of feeling alive in this body at any moment of any day, we just need to make it a priority.  One of the most powerful ways to experience bliss is through dance, because when you’re dancing you’re fully engaged in the moment.  Your brain has taken a backseat, and your body is driving.  So many limiting belief systems thwart our basic right to feel good about ourselves, our bodies, to be able to enjoy the gift of this day.  There is never going to be a time when you think your body is perfect, but it can feel alive whenever you decide to wake it up.

This is why I post these powerful feminine images, as I find that, for me, they conjure a primitive archetype which knows no age.  I believe that sexual energy is akin to life force, the feeling of vitality and eternal youth.  I use these images to remind myself, and other women, to appreciate our female bodies as they are today, at every age, in every shape and size.  That energy is available to all of God’s creatures, to take pleasure in the gift of this moment.  As I hand pick these posts, you remind me of who I am, what I long for, what I find most beautiful, that we as women share, ever changing and evolving. Never wanting to forget how good it feels to be fully alive today, with no guarantee of tomorrow.
